The College of Arts and Sciences offers students a traditional liberal education to meet the needs of the 21st century, allowing them to compete for a variety of careers in an increasingly complex and evolving world.

Various scholarships are offered within the College of Arts in Sciences. Most of these are offered by individual departments.  To find out more in your area of interest, consult the pertinent department:

In addition, the Department offers the Patricia B. Porter Scholarship, which is open to entering freshmen in the following programs:
Art History
Graphic Design                               
Religious Studies
Studio Art                 
Visual Art                                         
World Languages and Cultures.

Students with the eligible GPA and ACT scores and who have been admitted to the University in these programs will be invited to apply for this scholarship.
