About the College

The arts, humanities, mathematics, and sciences find their home in the College of Arts and Sciences. Our professors’ accomplishments as practitioners and scholars are respected nationally and internationally. Yet our first priority is teaching, with students enjoying individual attention in small classes. The result? Students also deeply engaged in their subjects—in and out of the classroom, and so students’ success after graduation.

Professors in Pubs

Quench your thirst for knowledge! Professors in Pubs is an occasional program of the College of Arts and Sciences. Come hear our professors give a casual talk at a Montgomery watering hole! It’s a relaxing way to engage the mind over a drink or a bit to eat. Hearing the talks and chatting with the speaker is on us! (Your drinks and food are on you.)
